Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a difference in the LGBTQIA+ community? X-Plore, a dedicated LGBTQIA+ charity, is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our vibrant youth clubs in Exeter, West Devon, and North Devon.
Why Volunteer with X-Plore?
At X-Plore, we provide safe, inclusive, and confidential youth clubs for LGBTQIA+ youth across Devon. Our mission is to create supportive spaces where young people can express themselves, build confidence, and form meaningful connections. By becoming a volunteer, you'll play a crucial role in achieving this mission.
Volunteer Requirements:
Age: Volunteers must be 18 years or older
Community: Volunteers must be part of the LGBTQIA+ community
Anonymity: Respect each individual's anonymity and confidentiality
Location: Opportunities are available in Exeter, West Devon, and North Devon
Engagement: A genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their growth
What You Can Expect as a Volunteer:
Supportive Environment: Collaborate with our trained youth workers to deliver impactful youth work in X-Plore Youth Club groups
Activity Leadership: Help facilitate a range of engaging activities such as art, cooking, games, and other creative pursuits
Meaningful Conversations: Be open to discussing a variety of topics with young people, from relationships and self-care to school and home life
Inclusivity and Respect: Actively support staff and youth by fostering an inclusive atmosphere that respects each person's diverse needs and experiences
